Gallery IS, is pleased to once again be presenting a special collection of work by local photographer Sandy Warren.
"Thresholds of Stone" is a brand new collection of Sandys well known photographs of doors, drains, and windows, all of which have been taken while on travels in Italy. Each piece features her fascination with the texture and colour of the "old world".
Not only are the images of stone but they are also presented on stone. Each one of Sandy's photographs has been transfered onto a travertine marble tile.
Sandy has taken this opportunity to present her collection in a different way. She will have much larger pieces, as well as altering her images into a more graphic format.
This exhibit runs from June 3rd to July 2nd, 2011.
Opening reception is First Friday June 3rd from 6-9pm.
